Noeleen Lowndes

Hydrogen Alpha colour image of the solar surface taken with the clubs Lunt 80mm solar telescope on the 8th August 2015 and using a Canon 700D camera fitted with a 2x Barlow lens. This is a composite image, you need to take two sets of images one set for the solar disc and another set for the faint prominences that require a longer exposure to capture the ejected plasma, images were then combined in PS CS4.
